OpenSCAD course: from cube to printed part

In five short lessons you'll learn enough OpenSCAD to build and adapt the projects on this site yourself — from your first shape to a small printable part of your own. Every lesson has a rotatable 3D model and a mini exercise with a solution.

  1. Your first shapefree cube, cylinder, sphere — objects with dimensions in millimetres.
  2. Move & combine translate, rotate and union / difference / intersection.
  3. Dimensions as variables Change one number instead of hunting for ten — the heart of OpenSCAD.
  4. Modules & loops module and for — repeat cleanly instead of copy-paste.
  5. Mini project: a wall hook Everything together into one parametric, printable part.

Lesson 1 is free; lessons 2 and on are a CARECOM.united member benefit — free and non-binding. About membership →
